Animal Crossing New Leaf: Welcome Amiibo Update! Part Two ♡

Hi everyone! I hope you're enjoying your break! I certainly am!

In my last Welcome Amiibo Update post I talked about the MEOW coins, the CAT machine, the daily initiatives (which reward you with MEOW coins when completed) and the amiibo camera function!

In this post I will talk about other new things to do and see!

Animal Crossing New Leaf: Welcome Amiibo Update! Part One ♡

I've been waiting to get an Amiibo so I could show you all of the features of the new update to Animal Crossing New Leaf. What, I haven't got an Amiibo yet? I know, that's crazy right? Haha! I've always wanted one but I've spent so long debating over which one to get and I didn't really want to pay £10 per figure because I knew that I'd want at least 5 of them and yeah....money (´;ω;`)

Now I can finally use the amiibo reader with the figures instead of just with the cards. Speaking of cards, I haven't been collecting any more since this post simply because they're so easy to get addicted to buying them. I mean the other day I started buying the Final Fantasy Trading cards and 2 packs quickly turned into 5... (っ- ‸ – ς)

Anyway, here's Isabelle!

I got the Winter Outfit version because she looks so cute in the yellow coat! σ(≧ε≦o)

With the NFC Reader!

the GazettE Heresy Renewal Present and 2015/16 Lucky Bags!

I never talk about the GazettE on here, even though they were all I would talk about a couple of years ago! I don't really know how to properly explain this but I feel like I've become more of a "quiet fan"; I don't really talk about them much, have friendship groups like I used to...I'm just so laid back compared to how I used to be! Not that I used to be crazy or anything haha....... :/

So I've been a fan for 6 years today, 24th November! \(^O^)/ I've been holding on to this post (clearly) since the beginning of the year oops...so I thought that I'd post this today!

Renewal Present!

So this little parcel arrived the other day! I've been in the Heresy fanclub for over a year now. For all members who have renewed their memberships, a present was sent out!

The red flyer is about their 15th Anniversary live 10th March 2017. Unfortunately I'm not able to go, and I was really considering going!

I have no idea what I'm going to put inside this photo frame but I'm sure I'll think of something! ^.^)/

Lucky Bags

To this day I still don't know why I waited up to 3am to get these bags...but these are my very first lucky bags so it was exciting! In general, I'd love to be in Japan in January to try and get Lucky Bags, it seems like such a unique experience. When I see "Lucky Bags" that are actually mini suitcases......yeah I definitely need to go!!

I feel like I did pretty well with these bags. I didn't get everything I wanted obviously, but then that would be extremely lucky! There were some items that I really wanted but unfortunately didn't get. Having a look at some of the bags on instagram/twitter, they seem to consist of a lot of the same items.

I somehow managed to buy both the Heresy-only and the Rad Market bags. I joined Heresy in the middle of last year so I thought I'd aim for that bag in case I manage to get some items that I would've missed from not being in the fanclub at that particular time. So I'll start with that lucky bag first!

FFXV: Road To Release

So yesterday I went to my local Odeon cinema to see the live stream of IGN's Primiere of FFXV! It's available to watch online here if you missed it. I thought I'd give you a short but sweet post about this event.

I found it really interesting to see some behind the scene footage, or rather, how Hajime Tabata and the team came up with different concepts regarding environmental design. Seeing them go underground and hike up mountains was really cool! I really enjoyed the interview! Also fans had a chance to ask questions and I really like the question by one fan who asked about the idea behind Noctis' and Lunafreya's contrasting outfit choices. (Noctis in black and Lunafreya in white)

After the stream we were able to watch Kingsglaive! This was my second time watching it and my opinions have remained the same:

  • Great fight scenes!
  • I actually love Lunafreya??!!!
  • I still hate the fades to black.
  • The way the final scene is really weak.

Pensive: An Interlude~

I've been so in awe of nature recently. I mean, it's always been there of course but for some reason, the Autumn air has been bringing out some of the most amazing sights. I thought I'd just share some scenic pictures of London, along with some pretentious musings that have been floating around my mind recently...

I've been thinking a lot lately...about how far I've come, or whether I've made any progress at all.

I don't know if I'm moving backwards or forwards.

♡ 妖怪ウォッチ! ♡ Yokai Watch! ♡

Hi everyone! ♡

So in one of my travelling posts I talked about purchasing a Japanese 3DS with some games, including the popular Yokai Watch game! I'm going to talk about playing both the Japanese version and the English version!

(I will just apologise for the quality of some of these pictures. As far as I'm aware, you can't take screenshots in this game like you can for say, ACNL. So I had to take a picture of the whole DS, sorry!!!! ;;A;;)

Here are the latest styles that I liked!

London Comic Con! 29/10/16

So last weekend I went to London Comic Con for the first time in years! It's been at least 6/7 years since I last went so I was very excited to see how much it had changed and grown since. I didn't dress up or anything, I never do. Cosplay's not my thing to be honest, but I loved seeing the different costumes, everyone looked amazing!

London Final Fantasy XV Kingsglaive Premiere!!

So yesterday I went to the premiere of Kingsglaive at Picturehouse Central in Piccadilly! I still can't believe that I manage to get a ticket to this, apparently it sold out in under a minute! (*゚ロ゚) Still I'm thankful that I was able to go and I want to write down my thoughts about the event and the film.

I've seen The Spirits Within and Advent Children and have played quite a few of the games from the series, so I'm familiar with the "final fantasy" feel when it comes to cutscenes and video content. I remember when I was younger and watched my brother play Final Fantasy X for the first time. That opening cutscene in Zanarkand     (۶* ‘ꆚ’)۶” Little old me was astounded at the quality of the graphics and how real the characters looked. It's one of the many reasons why it's my favourite Final Fantasy game! (After typing this I went to youtube because I just had to watch it again! If you've never seen it then watch it here!)

♡ Ayumi Seto Style Books! Part Two ♡

Recently I posted about one of the Japanese model Ayumi Seto's style books, Ayumi Kidz

This time I will be talking about Kidult Girl, a book she posted Winter 2015! It's another style book, but shows more styles and more background information about her!

She shows you behind the scenes for photoshoots, how she co-ordinates her outfits, make and hair styles and what influences her style. It's really interesting, especially if you are as interested in American culture as she is! (I'm not haha)

The reason for the title of her style book.

Being in your twenties can be a rough time. You have no idea what you want to do, unless you're one of those lucky people who already know what they want from life. Sometimes you feel like a kid, wanting to do nothing but play and mess around, but as an adult you now have to face different responsibilities. That's how I interpret "kidulthood" haha!

Here are some of my favourite pages in the book:

I love that you can tell that Ayumi is heavily inspired by American culture, BUT she puts her own spin to it that makes it original and unique to herself.

I wish I could just effortless co-ordinate outfits like this! ;A:

Cute hairstyles! As I've said before the short bob is my favourite!

The 'A' page from Ayumi's dictionary.

I really wish I could afford her clothes , the only thing I managed to buy was a knit beanie from her store in Japan! She also sells some of her collection in Lazy Oaf! Why am I so poor??!!!

I really hope she publishes more style books, I'd definitely buy them! Thanks Ayumi for being such a great inspiration for style and fashion and making it about being yourself, and who you are! ^^

Ayumi is actually releasing another book called My 7 Colours! I've just ordered it from cdjapan, so when it arrives I'll post it here! ヾ(´▽`*)ノ☆

Thanks for reading!

♡ Ayumi Seto Style Books! Part One ♡

So when I was in HMV in Japan, they had a book section and I managed to find two Ayumi Seto style books!

She's my favourite Japanese model and she frequently features in Zipper magazine, the best magazine eveeeeeer!

I'm not obsessed with this magazine, I swear!!

It's heavily centered on Aomoji-Kei and basically wearing whatever you want and not caring about attracting guys or what they think haha! Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is probably still the leader of this style, she just wears whatever she wants and always looks great!! ٩(♡ε♡ )۶

The first book I will show is called Ayumi Kidz and was published in 2013. I believe this was when Ayumi was just about to kick off her Aymmy in the Batty Girls brand.

Here are some of my favourite styles from the book:

I'm in love with bomber/varsity jackets paired with skinny jeans or shiny/velvet leggings and trainers! I'm not as brave as Ayumi to pair them with shorts and knee high socks though (๑ˊ▵ॢˋ̥๑)

Loving the gingham shirt tied around her waist! I do that a lot haha!

Love this look! (♥ω♥*)

School/Preppy style!

I can't achieve these hairstyles without the help of weave/extensions lol but they're so cute!! I especially love when she rocks the short bob hairstyle.

Her make is always so simple but it looks really good and compliments her outfits. I often try to imitate how she puts on her blusher!

Ayumi Kidz is a great short style book and has given me so much inspiration!

Next time I'll show you her latest book: Kidult Girl! It's even better!

Thanks for reading!
